About Us
My name is Amy and I am the owner of Marmais Candles. You might be wondering what my business name means..it is the combination of my two babies (or rather Jack Russell terriers) Marley and Maisie.Â
I started Marmais Candles in 2021 when I was made redundant from my design job. This gave me the time to focus on the basics of candle making, from there I started selling to friends and family and it’s really grown from there.
I hand-make all of my candles to ensure they are completely unique, using my own process to make all pots, then hand-pour using natural rapeseed and coconut wax. This is all done in my small kitchen at home. My home is a constant testing zone with pots everywhere, I love how my candles look and smell and I hope you do too!Â
